Company: Penguin Random House LLC Requisition ID: 22793 Marketing Manager, Ballantine Bantam Dell The Random House Group seeks a highly creative, strategic and motivated marketing professional to join the Ballantine Bantam Dell title marketing team. Candidates must be forward-thinking and able to develop and implement marketing strategies into fully-crafted reader-centric campaigns using the latest digital analysis and tactics. This role manages all aspects of marketing for assigned titles, series, and brands, and coordinates the digital strategy, advertising, promotion, and point-of-sale from start to finish. Candidates must have interest and experience working on both commercial nonfiction and fiction titles. Key Responsibilities: * Develop wide-scale, strategic marketing campaigns for assigned titles * Serve as marketing point of contact for publishers, editors, sales, authors, and agents * Oversee advertising campaigns, digital outreach, author platform building, and audience development * Expand imprint, brand, and author digital presence with a focus on email marketing and social media * Contribute content to divisional and corporate e-newsletters, websites and social networking vehicles used to promote assigned titles/authors * Work closely with sales staff to execute account-specific programs, which may include the creation of special printed materials, digital assets, and mailings * Update sales force, publishing office, publicity and editorial on campaigns (including performance metrics and key takeaways) and related news Requirements: * 3-5 years of marketing experience with at least one year of publishing industry experience * An interest in commercial nonfiction and a strong understanding of digital marketing = * Has strong communication skills, is highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrates initiative and ingenuity in finding vehicles for meeting personal, departmental and/or company goals.
